HGH and Mental Health
Mental disease is very complex and requires a number of different modalities, including nutritional therapy, exercise, medical hypnotherapy, group and individual psychotherapy and spiritual counseling. However, one area that has long been neglected in mental health is that of hormonal disfunction. A significant number of people suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, phobias, insomnia, an inability to concentrate, memory loss and other related conditions are found to be deficient in Human Growth Hormone when tested.

The great news is that all of the clinical evidence from studies done on HGH restoration therapy is very encouraging as to the beneficial effect of HGH on mental health. For instance, according to Bio Science Medical Journal, November 1998, "Neurocognitive function is improved greatly with HGH restoration therapy." In October 2000 the Neuroendocrinology Medical Journal reported that Human Growth Hormone crosses the blood brain barrier, improving cognitive capacity, memory, alertness, motivation, work capacity and neuron communication. The journal went on to report that "Adult HGH deficiency correlates with poor emotional and psychological function, decreased dentritic formation and cortical neurosis and age related impairments in learning and memory."

Given the growing body of evidence about the toxic side effects of psychotropic drugs like anti-depressants and anti-anxiety medications, HGH restoration therapy, with its minimal side effect profile, is clearly a far more advantageous route to take for those suffering from mental health issues. This is all the more so when one considers the multitude of physial and physiological benefits than one would simultaneously be gaining whilst on HGH. At the very least, anyone suffering from a mental health condition should be tested to see if they are indeed deficient in Human Growth Hormone.
